Planning for water-related sport and recreation

Working with the University of Brighton and other partners, we are launching regional strategic plans for water-related sport and recreation across England and Wales. They will encourage organisations to provide for water-related recreation, and encourage people to take part in activities like canoeing, sailing, rowing and surfing.

So far we have launched three plans:

These plans will change the way planning authorities and organisations work when providing new opportunities for water-related sport and recreation.
